Photographer Description

General Comments
Goli’s passion for photography began well before she ever held a camera. Mesmerized by visual images of places and lifestyles unseen by her own eyes, she began to document her own travels with an ability to find the beauty and serenity in and of a subject, and capture it in her lenses.

Then, influenced by the great photographer Ansel Adams, she started photographing landscapes on black and white film. She took great pride in developing and printing her own images in the dark room, which allowed her to bring out the light and textures necessary to fully interpret her images.

With the encouragement of her friends, she started photographing people and events, only to discover a true joy in being able to capture moments in people’s lives.
True to her own spunky spirit, Goli’s images are spontaneous, passionate and sensitive, her approach candid and fun. Her style relies less on poses and props and more on uncovering the true essence of her subject’s soul and personality.

Credits/Awards and Special Recognitions
Choosing Goli Judge to photograph our daughter's Bat Mitzvah was the key decision in what turned out to be a wonderful family event. The pictures she took, and the albums she subsequently designed, will be treasured by our family forever. Besides covering the event from literally every angle, Goli caught "moments" -- little asides, private moments, touching exchanges -- and the photos exuded the joy of the event. She did all of this while seamlessly blending into the party and ceremonies, never obtrusive or difficult. Goli has a gift for natural lighting, composition, and for layouts. Also, the portraits she has taken of our family are fantastic and have adorned our annual holiday cards. We wholeheartedly recommend Goli for any event or portrait session, but more than anything, the pictures speak for themselves.
